The Watch Factory Australia Warranty Information

The Watch Factory is an Authorised Retailer for for all of the brands and products we sell. All of our products are sourced directly from the Licensed Manufacturer or Authorised Distributor. All products sold by The Watch Factory are guaranteed to be genuine, brand new, in original condition and delivered with original packaging, warranty cards and instruction manuals where applicable. In the unlikely event that you experience a problem with your watch after receiving it from us, The Watch Factory will assist in claiming the warranty to resolve the issue.

2 YEAR INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY
The Watch Factory issues a 2 year warranty on all purchased watches which guarantees that the product is free from manufacturing faults. This warranty does not affect your rights under consumer law. Some brands offer a warranty in excess of 2 years in which case the longer warranty is honoured. (Find out more about certain warranty period by contacting us via support@watchfactory.com.au)

COVERED UNDER WARRANTY
The warranty guarantees that your watch is fit for purpose, free from manufacturing faults and working as expected. The warranty for your watch covers issues with the movement, hands, dials and all internal parts not resulting from external impact or misuse.

NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY
Normal wear and tear on the case, band, glass, crown, pushers, buckle and plating is usually not covered under warranty. Water damage is not covered under warranty when a watch has been exposed to conditions that are outside of that watch's designated operating instruction as found on the case-back or in the manual. Any issue that is a result of external impact will not be covered under warranty. Any issue that is caused by failing to follow individual instructions found in the manual will not be covered under warranty.

CLAIMING YOUR WARRANTY
To claim the warranty of your item, please print this form, fill it out and send it into us with the claimed item. Your watch will be evaluated and we will send you an email update. If the issue with your watch is covered under warranty it will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.

GENERAL WARRANTY UNDER AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
The benefits to the consumer given by the warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer under a law in relation to the goods or services to which the warranty relates. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The consumer will bear the expense of claiming the warranty.
